A culture of safety grows through the care we show each other every day. At Cobetter, this means recognising hazards, knowing how to respond and protecting the information entrusted to us.
Our September 2026 Safety Month brought colleagues together to strengthen these habits through practical training and shared learning. The activities reflect an ongoing commitment to employee well-being and responsible operations, both important parts of our ESG approach.

Cobetter’s 2026 Safety Management Conference brought together more than 20 enterprises on 28 September.
A shared commitment throughout the year
Cobetter designates 29 May and 28 September as its annual Safety Days, with Safety Month activities each May and September. These occasions provide a focus for reviewing everyday practices and strengthening preparedness across the business.
In September, a two-week safety skills competition covered fire system operations, early-stage fire response and smoke escape, chemical spill response, and CPR. Repeated practice helped identify employees who could recognise risks and support an immediate response in their workshops.
Clear systems and responsibilities
Safety requires a clear framework as well as individual awareness. Cobetter’s occupational health and safety management system, supported by ISO 45001 certification, establishes policies for production safety, employee health and accountability at each level.
Hazard identification and assessment inform risk controls. Routine inspections and corrective actions help teams address unsafe conditions, while continuous improvement keeps procedures responsive to operational needs.
Information security follows its own management framework, supported by ISO 27001 certification. Policies cover network security, information transfer and incident response. Access controls limit sensitive information to what each role and business activity requires, helping protect the privacy and information of customers and partners.

These frameworks bring structure to our responsibilities for people and information. Professional teams and security technologies support implementation, with reviews and exercises helping improve preparedness over time.
Everyday inspections and corrective action
On the production floor, employees carry out self-checks, peer checks and routine inspections under standard operating procedures. During Safety Month, management joined frontline teams in workshop safety reviews and followed up on corrective actions.

Colleagues review equipment safety on the production floor.
Information security teams also use internal reviews, external audits and cybersecurity exercises to test safeguards and refine response plans. Across both areas, inspections help teams identify issues early and act on them.
Safety learning for every role
Cobetter provides safety education tailored to different roles, with programmes covering emergency first aid, fire safety, health awareness and fraud prevention. First-aid responder training, practical competitions and safety-themed film screenings offer different ways for employees to learn.

Classroom training supports employee safety awareness and practical understanding.

Hands-on activities develop CPR skills and chemical spill response preparedness.
Regular information security training and assessments cover password management, security software updates, file backups, document encryption, endpoint device use and access control. These activities help employees understand how their everyday decisions contribute to protecting information.
Practising emergency response
Emergency plans become more useful when teams practise them. Cobetter conducts drills covering fire escape, electric shock rescue and emergency evacuation, alongside comprehensive fire exercises. Clear roles and procedures help employees understand what to do when an incident occurs.

Dedicated firefighters and emergency equipment support response readiness.
On-site fire stations, dedicated firefighters and emergency supplies support immediate response. Information security preparedness receives similar attention: Cobetter has conducted more than 20 information security emergency drills so far in 2026.
Our ongoing responsibility
Employee wellbeing and responsible information management are part of how we approach sustainable business. Safety Month creates time to learn together and review our progress. Everyday inspections, training and drills carry that work forward throughout the year.
We will continue to build safety awareness into our processes and roles, with everyone playing a part in caring for colleagues and protecting the information our customers and partners entrust to us.
