Porous sintered material is a special type of filtration material made by sintered plastic powder. It has uniform pore size distribution, and the interior presents a porous maze like structure which enables it to provide multiple filtration solutions.
Most venting materials, such as membranes only have the function of blocking water and allowing air to pass through, and they have bidirectional exhaust. However, PE sintered materials can function as one-way valves when they come into contact with water.
Typical Applications in Medical
- Waste liquid tank stop overflow filter
Negative pressure waste collection bags/tanks are widely used in hospitals for waste liquid treatment systems. When the waste liquid collection system is working normally, the overflow stop filter can ensure a continuous and stable airflow in the negative pressure closed system. Once in contact with liquid, the filter element produces self sealing, effectively preventing liquid from overflowing and avoiding contamination of negative pressure equipment and external environment.
- Blood/infusion stop filter
Adopting the "no water, breathable, water sealed" technology, it can be used for various blood collection/infusion devices.
