Cobetter Poxymem™ is porous hydrophobic polypropylene capillary membranes manufactured by thermally induced phase separation method. It has good mechanical strength, large gas transfer and sufficient anti-plasma leakage breaking through ability. It is suitable for applications to substitute lungs in less than 6 hours such as cardiopulmonary bypass surgery and organ perfusion.

Cobetter Poxymem™ is porous hydrophobic polymethylpentene capilllary membrane manufactured by thermally induced phase separation method. It has good mechanical strength and abundant gas flux simultaneously. The unique asymmetric structure and skin layer on outer surface provide excellent ability of the capillary to prevent plasma breaking through, and this made the material suitable for extracorporeal life support applications to substitute lungs for over 24 hours.
