Poxymem™ Polymethylpentene Capillary

Cobetter Poxymem PMB-380/200 is porous hydrophobic polymethylpentene capilllary membrane manufactured by thermally induced phase separation method. The porous inner supporting layer structure brings PMB-380/200 good mechanical strength and abundant gas flux simultaneously. The unique asymmetric structure and skin layer on outer surface provide excellent ability of the capillary to prevent plasma breaking through, and this made the material suitable for extracorporeal life support applications to substitute lungs for over 24 hours. Poxymem PMB-380/200 capillary is corona treated after manufactured. The affinity of capillary surface is slightly altered by corona discharge without damage the surface structure to provide better adhesion to resin glue.
