In the biopharmaceutical and bioprocessing industries, ensuring a sterile environment during production is crucial. A fast, reliable, and sterile fluid transfer connection is one of the key steps to maintaining sterility. However, when aseptic connections are made using a tube welder, challenges such as tubing limitations and the impact of heat welding temperature on the fluid may arise. To address these process pain points, Cobetter has introduced the Lifemeta AC aseptic connector, providing a flexible and convenient solution without the need for additional hardware investments.
The Cobetter Lifemeta AC aseptic connector is designed to establish a sterile connection between two pre-sterilized components without differentiating between male and female connectors. It can easily achieve aseptic connections in a Class C environment. The use of the ACM series only requires four simple steps: (1) connect, (2) align, (3) pull, and (4) lock."
The Lifemeta AC aseptic connector can be provided as a standalone component, allowing users to assemble it with silicone or TPE tubing. Alternatively, it can be pre-assembled onto other single-use components and supplied as a combined solution.

The components of a single-use system need to be securely, reliably, and leak-free connected, and hose connectors, though often overlooked, are crucial components. Aseptic connectors serve as an important line of defense in ensuring pharmaceutical safety.
