By offering various lengths, membrane filtration areas, and module diameters, Cobetter hollow fiber modules can facilitate a smooth and predictable scale-up from laboratory to pilot-scale and eventually manufacturing-scale. Available from Mini, Minilab, Lab, Pilot, Pilot+, Process and Max.

Cobetter hollow fiber modules are made of modified polyethersulfone membranes(m-PES), which have high flow flux and low protein binding. They are easy to install, clean and sanitize, and are widely used in cell harvest, clarification, perfusion, diafiltration and concentration in upstream and downstream bioprocessing.

Compare with TFF Cassette’s tortuous and complicated flow path, hollow fiber filtration has a linear flow path which creates a smooth flow for more gentle separation.

Features

· Easy to scale-up

· Easy to setup

· High process flux

· Low protein binding

· Cost-effective and time-saving

· Don’t require any hardware installation

Applications

· Clarification of cells and bacterial from fermentation broth

· Clarification of cell lysates or cell debris

· Concentration and diafiltration of proteins

· Purification, concentration and diafiltration of viral vector

· Perfusion applications

Choose Fiber ID

· 0.5 mm ID fibers are mostly used for general applications.

· 1.0 mm ID fibers are mostly used in materials with high cell density, high solid content, or high viscosity, such as glycerol or sucrose, or if either condition is accompanied by cold-room processing(i.e., 4°C)
