Vent Filters
Vent filters made of hydrophobic membranes are commonly used in air or gas applications and for venting of bioreactors, fermentation tanks, and carboys. The important considerations when selecting a gas or vent filter are air flow rate and particulate or microorganism retention. The build-in membranes must provide sufficient surface area to accommodate the air flow required by the system. Cobetter offers a broad portfolio of vent filters with effective filtration areas range from 7.3 to 20 cm².

Aegivast® ACE Vent Filters
Features
· Pore Size: 0.2µm.
· Effective filter area: 20cm².
· Feature a high air flow rate.
· Reusable and autoclavable(can withstand 130℃ autoclave sterilization for 30 min, 20 times).
Application
· Sterile venting of filling vessels and fermentation.
· In-line sterilization of and particulate removal from air and gases.
· Sterile filtration of non-aqueous solutions, vacuum tube protection, air filtration and ventilation of liquid storage tanks and bioreactors. Sterile filtration of compressed air, O2, N2, etc.
