Cobetter Ultrfiltration Centrifugal Filter

Cobetter Ultrfiltration Centrifugal Filter

Cobetter developed a new product--Ultrafiltration Centrifugal Filter, which is widely used in the concentration and purification of proteins such as antigens, antibodies, enzymes etc. It can also be used in protein desalting, buffer exchange, biomolecules isolated from tissue culture fluids or cell lysates, and removing primers, linkers or molecular markers from the reaction mixture.

Advantages

High Efficiency
Cobetter Ultrafiltration Centrifuge Tube can reach the concentration multiple of 80-100 times, and the general concentration time is 10-60min.

High Recovery Rate
The RC membrane and smooth tube internal of the centrifuge tube have extremely low protein adsorption and can achieve more than 90% recovery rate.

Wide Applicability
Both fixed angle rotors and swing bucket rotors are applicable.

Two sizes and four molecular weight cut-offs (MWCO) available
4mL:3kDa, 10kDa, 30kDa, 100kDa
15mL:3kDa, 10kDa, 30kDa, 100kDa

How to Use Cobetter Ultrfiltration Centrifugal Filter?

To choose which type to use, determine the molecular weight (MVW) of your macromolecule of interest, select an ultrafiltration membrane with a molecular weight cut-off (MWCO) that is 2-3 times smaller than the MW of your macromolecule.

Cobetter ultrafiltration centrifugal filter consists of a lid, a filter unit, and a centrifuge tube. It requires a rotor or rotor adapter compatible with 15mL (for 4mL centrifugal filter) or 50mL (for 15mL centrifugal filter) conical bottom centrifuge tubes. Both the swinging bucket rotor and the fixed-angle rotor must meet this requirement.

The ultrafiltration centrifugal filter may contain a small amount of glycerol. To avoid interference, we recommend rinsing it before use. Once the ultrafiltration membrane is wet, it must be kept wet until it is used up.

Now Cobetter ultrafiltration centrifugal filter has two sizes: 4mL and 15mL. We are continuing to develop more types to meet customer requirements.
